JM Elite Softball is focused on creating more opportunities for Calgary and Alberta athletes to access high-quality softball development right here at home.

JM Elite Softball is a high-performance training program designed to help female athletes develop the skills, strength, confidence, and mindset needed to reach their full potential.
Head Coach Jamie Mitchell began coaching with the NSA Softball program in 2022. After NSA shifted its focus toward other sports in 2025, Jamie saw an opportunity to continue working with female athletes through a partnership with the National Sport School (NSS) at WinSport.
The result is a unique training environment that allows athletes to pursue high-level softball development while attending a school built around the needs of student-athletes.
Train During the School Day. Compete in the Evening.
One of the biggest advantages of the JM Elite Softball program is the ability to train 2–3 days per week during the school day.
Athletes participate in dedicated softball training while at school, focusing on the technical aspects of the game that can often be difficult to address during regular team practices.
On the other school days, athletes follow a structured workout program designed to complement their softball development.
This schedule gives athletes the opportunity to train, attend school, and still have their evenings available for team practices, games, or other sports.

National Sport School + JM Elite Softball
The partnership with the National Sport School at WinSport provides athletes with an exceptional environment to balance academics and high-performance sport.
NSS offers some of the best athletic facilities in the country, along with teachers and staff who understand the demands placed on student-athletes.
Being surrounded by other like-minded athletes creates an environment where students can pursue excellence both in the classroom and in their sport.
Most importantly, training takes place during the school day, helping athletes protect their evenings for team commitments, games, recovery, or other sports.
While JM Elite Softball is partnered with NSS, athletes attending other schools may also have the opportunity to participate, provided they can make the training schedule work with their school commitments.
